Calendar

The implementation calendar for each school year, September to May is as follows:

October: Goldin Foundation for Excellence in Education package sent to principals, assistant superintendents, and superintendents in all participating school systems for announcement to teachers and others involved in working with students.  Each Foundation package includes a cover letter, brochures, and a news release for the school newsletter.
October/November: Dinner meetings of the Goldin Foundation Advisory Boards
October - January: Nomination forms completed.
January 15, 2010 Deadline for nominations, nomination packets received at the collaborative organization.
February: Selection of award recipients by the Advisory Board.
February: Notification of award recipients.
March-April: Visits to award recipients.
April/May Goldin Foundation Educators Forum at a host school for each of the major groups.
April/May: News releases to local newspapers.
