The Goldin Foundation for Excellence in Education recognizes and
rewards educators who have made outstanding
contributions in their classrooms, schools and
communities. The Foundation seeks to foster the respect
for and appreciation of educators. It also seeks to retain
quality educators and attract others to the profession.
Established in 1990 as a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, the Goldin Foundation for Excellence in
Education provides six annual awards of $500 to each
participating collaborative of school systems, to be used at the
discretion of individuals selected. As the Foundation
expands, it will continue to serve additional collaborations of
school systems.
